Dr. Courtney Dexter
Dr. Courtney Dexter moved to the great state of South Carolina to pursue her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Coastal Carolina University, where she graduated in 2018. Dr. Courtney decided to continue her higher education at Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
At chiropractic college, Dr. Courtney found her passion for working with pediatrics and pregnant women, joining the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and founding the ICPA club on campus. There she also started her journey towards continued education and certification from the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics, including her Webster Technique Certification. Her journey with chiropractic care started in 2018 when she started seeing a chiropractor to relieve chronic headaches. She noticed that not only did the headaches dissipate, but other systemic dysfunctions cleared up as well. Her goal as a chiropractor is to provide specific and direct changes in her patient’s nervous systems, allowing them to function as efficiently as possible, neurologically and biomechanically.

In her free time, you can find Dr. Courtney taking walks with her husband Derek, and their 7-year-old dog, Mila; reading a good fiction novel; or enjoying a cruise or quick weekend trip to the beach or mountains.

Dr. Kelsey Fierke
Dr. Kelsey Fierke graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science degree before moving to Marietta, Georgia to attain her Doctor of Chiropractic at Life University. Chiropractic has been present in Dr. K’s life ever since her dad was under care for more than 30 years! Her personal experience started at age 13 when she started having low back pain while playing sports. Her chiropractor explained how kids should never be in pain. With regular care, the pain went away; but it was curiosity- wanting to know why that pain went away- that drove Dr. K to continue the path of chiropractic.
Dr. Kelsey has been in practice since March 2020 and is focused on providing neurologically based chiropractic care to people of all ages. She has been blessed to take care of new babies as young as a few days old! She has also become a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and earned the Webster Technique Certification. She also has a passion for helping women understand hormonal health and different ways to optimize it.
Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Kelsey in the gym throwing around some heavy weights, walking her dogs, or at church with her boyfriend Greg. Day trips to Charleston are her favorite weekend activity, and she looks forward to sharing her famous cookies (a recipe that belonged to her great-great-grandma!) with everyone at CFC!
